This isn't the average single bird portrait usually seen here on BPN, but I like it, and in fact it's the current screen saver on my Mac. They're Greater Yellowlegs flying in over the calm high tide, and other than cropping and sharpening I didn't do anything to the sky or water, or try to deal with the apparently non-existent horizon. I'd appreciate any comments - technical or aesthetic, positive or negative. I find BIF harder to take with the OM-D than with the D7000, so I was pleased when this came out sharp and in focus.
Olympus OM-D E-M5, Panasonic 100-300, hand-held, 1/2000, f/5.6, ISO auto at 250, pattern metering, Raw converted in LR4.
Thanks,
Richard
