    Hello everyone from CHILE.

This is my third photo a share in this wonderful page. I promise I will start sharing more. One wonderful afternoon at Farellones .....with more than 15 condors..I had the chance to take lots of pictures.

At one moment, extremely close for my setup (600mm).. I got the chance to get beautiful close-ups.

Hope you like it..and please share your comments and suggestions

Hi Rodrigo, the thumbnail doesnt do this justice. What a nice surprise to see the detail in this - excellent exposure on the blacks, ( good choice of using +1 EC ) and just love the detail on the head, especially the eye.

These guys are large, so you would have to be pretty backed off to capture these guys with total wingspan or use a shorter lens.

The bird is awesome and the exposure is great to show all the details in the blacks. I like the effect and composition you did here with the long lens. Love the way he is looking at you. Well done.

Rodrigo, this is very nice! I would crop even tighter, from the top left. Stunning image and I look forward to seeing more from you!

EDIT: maybe crop a bit from all sides, I really like the tail! :)

I liked the crop as presented. You need that room to the left of the tail. loved the strong diagonal. Striking eye helps a lot here. as otehrs have said, excellent exposure to get all the underside details without blowing the white feathers. Tough situation, I think. What a bird. It must have been very exciting.
