The dove was attracted to a feeder and photographed from a hide. The flowering plant, Frilled myrtle, is an Australian native bush.

John -
Excellent shot. The composition is very nice and the eye really stands out.
You nailed the focus on the face, but I see that the wings are a bit out of focus. I only wish for a little more dof.

Very attractive perch and I love the blue eye and beak.
The comp is a nice diagonal feel, well done.

Good job with the setup and composition. Great HA to go with the back view. Love the blue eye! Although I am normally fine with DOF if the face is sharp I do agree that in this case I do wish for more to get the back and wings sharp too.
Very nice. Great HA and eye contact. Exposed well and sharp where it counts. A little more DOF would have given more detail in the feathers on the back but beautiful non the less. Flowers and comp are great too.
Great looking back pose, nice setup and backgrund, John.
Nice dove, light and setup! I like it as is but wish the light was a bit less harsh.
Hi John, good lookback pose, and the HA shows off that eye nicely - matching beak too. Placement in the frame works well, and your set up looks great.
