    Satish:

Wonderful eye, nice angle in frame, sharp and well exposed. I am seeing some noise in the darker areas of the BG. Also might consider toning down the bright yellow bands in lower BG. I could also see a small crop from the top.

    Cheers

Ditto Randy who stole the words out of my mouth! The repost looks better (except sharpening which looks stronger on the OP) but there is still room for even more refinement in the NR and toning down of the LRC. Great yellow eye!

Pretty portrait with soft tones yet I still feel a need for more contrast on the bird and some noise reduction in the bg

OP is better IMO. All it needed was NR to the BG witch is still evident in the RP. Exposed well and great detail. Good job...

Hi Satish, lovely looking yellow eye, and I do like the pose. In your repost, you have really made everything come together - well done.

Nice sharpness, details HA and eye contact, Satish. Tou might want to use noise reduction on the background only.

    Hello Satish,

First time I read the title, I thought you had a photo of my ex-wife. This is overall a terrific photo; superb detail in the feathers, and great OOF BG.

I agree with the comments re: noise in background. I suggest masking off the background and sharpening only the bird. If you use LR 4, you can just move the masking slider to the right which requires far less sharpening overall since you're not sharpening the BG to begin with. Since I started using LR 4, my backgrounds look much better, and that's saying something since I often use a 7D at higher ISO!

    Very nice shot.
Great pose, I really like the background, and excellent feather detail.
Great repost, but agree with Cheryl on adding some contrast to the bird.
    Well done.
