    I want to thank you guys for commenting on my Original Thread. I included all of the suggestions, and learned a bit while doing it! See below for the re-post, and feel free to comment on the final product.

    Shooting info:
    Nikon d800 | 500 mm f/4 VR + 1.4x
    700 mm | 1/2000" | f/7.1 | ISO 6400
    Aperture Priority | +2/3 EV

    This is magnificent image.Bird is nicely popping up against background.I like the repost.

    nice landing pose and good details, I like the position of the feet. The bird looks a tad bright to me. The edges of primaries have some cut-and-paste look. For me personally this is too much photoshop work here, I would stick to the original.

    I am afraid that agree with Arash. For me the PP work is way over the top. I checked the original and it looks great, though a little washy. The pose is excellent, well caught.

    I think you've improved on the original post Miguel. Maybe a tad bright, but great capture of the heron alighting.

    Very nice image. I like the landing pose with these open talons. Good detail for such high ISO. The repost is improved over the original. I would stick to the original BG but that is just my preference. TFS.

    Thanks for all of the feedback! I think I'll probably stick to the original background, but enhance the heron like I did in the repost.
