    Really nice. Like the outstretched wings and the perch.

    excellent pose, details, light and great action. would be better to post 1024 pixels wide for critique.

    Looks great with the prey. Do you reckon it is too saturated? The colours appear so rich, but perhaps I am imagining things. Would also like to know how much of a crop it is from the original. After reading a lot of stuff about the D800 and all the latest gazillion megapixel cameras I am interested to know.

    thanks Akos, the colours are straight out of camera, the light quality was superb. They are one of those birds that the colours can change dramatically depending on the light

    as for cropping, the shot is "as shot" so no cropping its the full 36.6 megapixels.

    thanks aresh, i only upload to flickr at 800px for obvious reasons , but i appreciate the sizing you have suggested

    Terrific capture you have here. What amazing behavior and colors. It would look even better at 1024 on the long side. Wish for a tad more room esp on top.

    thanks Melvin, we had an incredibly lucky weekend. The light was perfect. Sometimes we get lucky.
