Another from Namibia, taken in a gardern by the seaside. I was walking along the beach when I came upon a garden being visited by these waxbills.

    Roy:

Lovely birds excellent BG, soft light, vivid colors. Very interesting perch. In a perfect world, would prefer the bottom bird closer to the top two. I can also see a version cropped for just the top two, and corresponding balancing crops form the sides.

    Cheers

Really nice soft light, all sharp birds sharp and a cool perch.
In a perfect world, they might be closer, but you can't arrange them!
I think it is. A great shot.

Good one Roy and lucky to get the magic head turn on all three waxbills. The composition is further enhanced by the interesting perch and sweet BG. Well seen.

Love the perch and all 3 birds. BG goes very well with your subjects. My eyes wish the lower bird were high as well, but a terrific capture nonetheless.
