These images were captured at minus 25 wind chill, hand-held (somehow not shivering) with my Canon EOS 20D, 100-400IS Lens. I continued to shoot until I filled my compact flash card and no longer had feeling in my hands to be able to pull out the card to put in a fresh one. Devotion or stupidity? Too close to call.

I would appreciate any comments or feedback.

I like the wings up and down poses and BG. It would have been even better with the sun behind you. I might give it a bit more room to fly into at the right.

Sweet wing combination and light. I'd be tempted to add more space to the right.

Thanks Axel and Fabs! I'll see about extending the canvas to the right.

I like it, Jake. I agree with above comments and would also like more room on the right. Let's see, at -25, unless you were wearing gloves, I'd give you about 5 minutes of photography before your fingers were paralyzed. :) I'm glad to see your equipment was still functioning in those temps.

    Hey Steve,
You know after living in Minnesota -25 is no problem...it kind of feels like a warm tropical breeze after your skin is numb! I did have on gloves, but that really didn't help too much. The equipment was functioning, but I was churning through the batteries pretty quick. Thanks for the suggestion.
