This fine fellow was enjoying the mild fall weather last weekend, and I enjoyed the nice color display from the fall leaves. Add in a little blue from the sky, and I thought it made a complimentary BG for the trumpeter

I like the exposure control, IQ, HA, colours and composition. Well done Randy.

I like your composition Randy with the swan well placed. And you're quite correct, the rich complimentary colours of blue and gold add that punch to the image - well seen and taken.

A fine image , indeed. Great exposure and the beautiful water color all blend together very well.

The thumbnail does not do this one justice. A beautiful image of this species!
I love the play of warm and cold colors in the water....
Subject placement and composition work well imo.

Gorgeous light and water colors Randy. I wish for just a little more head turn to allow more light on the face if I was to want for more:)

Not much better than a graceful white bird against such a background with blues and golds. Lovely portrait of this trumpeter, sweet sweet light, and like your low angle and comp.

Hi Randy, love the swimming pose with the extended neck, and I like the way you have brought out the whites. Placement works well, and yes to a colourful water BG. An opportunity well used.

    Thanks everyone:

Your comments and input are greatly appreciated.

I was back to that site yesterday, and less than a week later, about 80% of the color is gone. Glad I caught it when I didi!

    Cheers
