I Like the wet look and since I can never get close to them I really appreciate the photo you have here.
    Nice perch and BG color.

Very nice, clean image. I like the look of the wet KF, he looks a bit defeated :) Looks like the focus point was on the left wing and not the head (maybe next time shoot for a higher f/stop - f/13?). Either way, great capture!

Fun wet look and I like the comp you chose. Lovely BG. Wish the light weren't quite so harsh.

Very nice. Love the background....looks like colored water, which maybe it is...
I also enjoy the wet look of this hard to photograph species. If the bird had turned
it's head slightly away from you, thereby eliminating the shadow area on the neck
and adding more light to the face...I think you would have an even better image.
With that said, this is waaaaay better than anything I've conjured up for this species
    as of yet...congrats.

I like it, but a tad more selective sharpen on just the head would work to improve I think, liking the wet look especially the fine droplets. If Kingfishers are anywhere near as shy and elusive as the one we get here then I'd be totally thrilled to get a shot as nice as this
