Well this is as imaginative as I get I suppose!!
I applied a small amount of the oil painting filter in CS6, your comments are most welcome.

I like the distribution of color within the arrangement, the shape, and the texture. There could probably be a bit more room on the sides and top, but it's very nice and certainly a different approach to Fall foliage images.

Jonathon, it's so nice to see you posting in OOTB I love the colors and the arrangement against the black background. I could also see this with a slight slant to either side instead of centered but it is lovely just the way it is.

yes, nice arrangement. Good color choices. I think I would delete that stem on the lower left leaf that is on top. May tuck it under that red maple leaf. Thanks for posting!

I think it is gorgeous! Love the subtle colors on the black bg. I love the arrangement which looks like a bouquet. The leaves at the bottom look like a bow! Wonderful!! I'd say this is most imaginative.

Jon....I like your idea of creating a frond from many different leaves. Your color choices and arrangement of form work for me! I would only suggest that you might consider arching the top more to create a more of a curved composition

  8. Thanks Jonathan Ashton thanked for this post
