This cheeky juvenile semipalmated plover, (if memory serves me right, it was giving a little toot here), was photographed
during fall migration 2011 in Northern Minnesota. I enjoy the canvas of colors that this location can provide, particularly
in the fall when the greens turn golden. SonyA300, Sigma50/500, iso400, f9, 1/1000, removed several dust sensor spots,
cropped, selective NR to the bg, USM. Comments and critiques welcome. BTW, I like double catchlights, particularly when
they occur naturally, as is the case here, with the sun reflecting off the water...
