I have never one of these woodpeckers, thank you for sharing this image! Great background and details on the bird and trunk. If you contrast the catch light more, that might make the eye stand out more. Really like that background!

I image this would be the perfect Woodpecker composition on the side of a tree like this, very nice backdrop, sharp details on the bird and all sits in the frame perfectly, very nice Frank

Outstanding Wood pecker image and a rare one at that.
I would change nothing, the comp, exposure and details are all excellent as usual from you.

Beautiful woodpecker! It is very sharp. I love the highlight in the eye and the green of the background.

Gorgeous woodpecker, perfectly sharpened, love the softer light quality and the effect that it's had on the
bird's plumage and the tonality of the perch. A slight...very slight, head turn towards you would have been
better. I like the colors popping in the background as is, but would consider toning down the brightest yellows
just a bit. Really sharp looking image of this species sir.

Excellent Frank, super sharp image with lovely colors and contrast. I also love the BG, agree with toning down yellows.
