    Default Red Deer "breathing fire"...

It is that time of the year again when Red Deer are high up on the target list.

Taken last weekend as the sun was breaking over the horizon. There was not a lot of interaction between the males when I arrived, just some grunting and moaning, so my intention to take "action" images was looking like a non starter. I therefore switched my plan and went for a more peaceful and atmospheric image.

    Cheers

    Austin

Austin - very simple, yet beautiful. I love the way the light is hitting the breath.

Wow, beautiful. Love the fire breath, wonderfully captured. I also love the thin depth of field here, so very nice. Wonderful capture, Austin!

Very powerful image. Great processing. Love all the details in the FG grasses and the dragon breath puts this over the top.

It's all been said and I'd echo the other comments. Beautiful and evocative.

    Hey Austin, nice one.

Any side on, or face on too? I assume this was a Tatton P? Last week the ones up North were more concerned with bolstering & retaining his harem.
