    Default Elora and the pumpkin

I was out today checking the afternoon lighting ahead of next weekend's big Pumpkin Party and met precious little Elora. This kid was so funny. She absolutely wouldn't look at me unless I put the camera down. She just gazed away... never smiled, laughed, cried, nothing, even with her grandmother coaxing and calling to her. I loved her.

Really, really nice, Maureen. I'm not much of a fan of posed portraits, so I like this a lot. Her expression is wonderful. The image is well composed, and it has nice diagonals from the pallet and pumpkins. The brownish tones are perfect for this.

Maureen, I love the toning and slight glow or diffusion. The composition is perfect.

Well said, Anita. That's as cute as the image, itself.

Maureen, I've been back to this image many times to read comments. I liked it a lot at the outset, but it's a treat every time I see it, again.
