Just a fun image from the Alligator Farm Might be the same animal Cindy posted? This is a Croc Not much light so I had to use a very slow shutter speed

I would not much like putting my head in there. A nice "down the barrel" look into his mouth. Good work with the slow shutter speed Alfred.

Grin isn't the first thing I think of when I see those teeth. Excellent work, especially with the light. I wish I had had a photo like this one yesterday. I gave a talk to a bunch of 7th graders and showed them dozens of bird photos. I interspersed a couple of pictures of my dog and a photo of a bull gator. Those were the photos that got the big reactions. Yours would have been a tremendous hit.

Hi Alfred, this might be the same critter. He does have a similar tooth structure, but I think the snout is different. My guy was in the rookery area near the boardwalk.

Love the point of view here and wide open mouth! I only wish I could see the other eye, too.

    Love the teeth alfred!

Just think, this is the last thing you would see in the wild (if you were an animal) a second before you went down the hatch! I think the most they could do to a human is twist off a leg or 2 :)

Love it, Alfred. Very effective use of DOF. I was going to say that it could use a little dental work - but Gus beat me to it.

Cool image Alfred and you chose your DOF well. If you would have moved just slightly to the right so that you would face it exactly head on, making both eyes visible and creating perfect symmetry, this would have been even better IMO.
