    The colors and the out of focus reed beds look great , the inclusion of habitat is rather nice in this, the bird is sharp too, only wish it was placed more to the right of the image

    The habitat is nice and the colors look good, the bird had already passed you and it is too small in the frame and therefore doesn't show much detail, whites look a bit hot. TFS

    Thanks guys. No crop here. Was a bit of a challenge. Was in a skiff in the Pamlico Sound trying to steer and photograph at the same time. Will try a crop and a little burning.

    Hi Matt, I agree that it's a nice habitat shot. I do wish the bird was a bit more to the right. I would also reduce the contrast in the background (the blacks are too black on my screen).
