Taken down in South Carolina on the coast a couple weeks ago. I've had a goal for some time to get a Sanderling jumping up/wing flapping after its bath, and managed to get a few frames of this action. I was lying flat in the water and happy as a clam.
Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques.

Love this low angle and the overall feel of the image with the blueish colors. Nice wing pose and the water drops add a lot to the action feel. I'd sharpen the head a tad more. Well done, Melissa.

That's the jump alright! We all wait patiently for that one and you got a good one with a water spray and nice wing position. Repost works for me

Oh wow, the repost is something else! The original was great, but the selective sharpening just brought it over the top. What a capture!

The post bath jump-flap has to be one of the coolest things about shorebirds.
You've captured it beautifully. Very nice wing position and very engaging with that little look the bird gave you.
Looks like you had some sweet clean light to work with.
Repost sings as mentioned by everyone.
