Here is another photo from the morning that I spent in the water with the flamingos. Yes, I have a Gitzo tripod and yes, I washed it cleaned it after the session:-).

Great low angle shot, Lorant. The bird looks georgeous.

Fantastic extra low angle Lorant. I just love the colours of these flamingo's. Would add a little space to the RHS if you have it. Great work.

Great flamingo portrait, Lorant. Super low angle of course, and love the S-curve that goes from base of neck to tip of that funky beak.

Wonderful image ... love the colors and perspective!

Normally I would want to see room for the "virtual feet" but this one somehow works for me as is.
But I would like to see bird a bit farther to the left in the frame.

Something looks odd to me in the sky immediately above the trees behind the bird's neck?

    Great low POV.
I would like to see a bit more room right and bottom.
Love the shape of the neck,
    Gail

I like the low angle, sharpness and colours. I see a dust speck top center area. Beautiful image Lorant.

Really like the angle you took with this one. A bit of selective sharpening would do the trick. I think the crop is great as well - no need to add to more to any side.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.
I was thinking about composing it with more room for the virtual feet, but I dropped the idea. The legs are so long that the extra empty space puts the photo out of balance IMO.
Mike; I did some clone out work in front of the flamingo. I don't remember doing anything at the area that you mention, but I will have a look at the RAW file. My Master File doesn't show anything.
Arash and Miguel. I agree with some extra selective sharpening:-). Miguel; this crop is the one that is more for my liking as well, that is why I ended up with this one.

    Thanks again.
