I took this picture yesterday, early in the morning.
The Pond is receding more and more as we have not had enough rain this year.
The water level of Lake Ontario is down also.

Very nice low angle and beautiful golden colors. Love the water dripping off the beak. I'd be tempted to tone down the bright area in the chest and the wet spots close to the beak. Nice one, Karl.

Karl, this is just breathtaking. Those golden warm colors, your low angle, the water dripping, the background. Pretty splendid overall. I would just try to tone down the bright whites at chest.

Love the gold colors and the dripping water droplets.
Would clone out the specular highlight on bill and I see a need for a hint of CW rotation.
    A really beautiful shot!

Really beautiful, artistic shot. Love the water and of course the color scheme. And the bird is even clean! Whenever I see them, their heads are all covered in mud.

Great light, colors and low angle. I am getting excited for the arrival of these guys again this year. Hopefully my lens will be in great working condition this time around! I too would be tempted to tone it down just a bit.

Beautiful details, colors! The dripping water is great and adds a bit more to an already wonderful image. There is one spec on the left side that I would clean up. But the rest is something else!
