Like the pose, perch, composition, and bg, but it seems to me to have a very green cast over it

Your exposure seems to be spot on here, and what details you acquired, esp in those white feathers. Love this bird's quite little feet and nails and the leichen. The green BG works well. I'd like to see a little off the top and maybe a little more on the bottom. I am not seeing a green cast in the whites at all. The only place there may be a slight green cast is in the breast blacks but not sure whether that's the bird's actual color.

No the whites look fine to me, although I might expect them to be a bit more yellow, but the blacks do seem to have a green cast

A lovely clean BG makes the bird stand proud ... your flash work adds to the great eye contact... Nice one !!!

Nice singing pose. I thought the green was in the birds colors. Nice detail too.

The repost is much better, I have a 7D and the sensor is not too good with greens, I have to continually colour correct them. I did wonder at first if the image was a little over sharpened or just maybe the radius on sharpening was a tad high?? I like the repost, probably an illusion (?) but it doesn't look quite so sharpened to me.
