This was taken yesterday at a nearby creek. Mallards are often overlooked and especially the female. I like the muted fall colours reflected in the murky water.

Agree the females are all too often overlooked, but all the detail is there, nice light56 and especially like the eye contact with the camera

Nice details, and subtle fall colours in the water. I would have been tempted to place the subject lower in the frame as the reflection, although clear, is not very pronounced anyhow. Perfect techs and processing.
