    Default Adult Skimmer Feeding

Took this shot couple of weeks back.Cropped to vertical and did clone out quiet a few OOF birds.

    D300s,300mm f2.8 ,1/2500s,f/2.8,ISO-250,Manual Exp.

I wanted to separate the BG from the subject and hence shot it wide on purpose.

    Comments & Critique appreciated.

    Thanks

    Terrific shot.
Excellent action captured from both birds. I love the open beak of the small skimmer and excellent pose and head turn on the adult. You even got eye contact from the fish.
Very nice light, great background, and I personally like the comp.
My only nit is the oof bird other than that...
    Very well done.

Great landing pose and feeding interaction. The chicks open mouth and the draped fish are great. Yes the only negative is the oof birds blending with the adult. Good Work..

Excellent action and love the young one with open beak. The catch is also very nice. I also would be tempted to clone out dark patch in the BG TFS.

    Sanjeev:
Extremely beautiful image.Great moment of interaction between mom and chick captured.
Love the "ready to catch" pose of cute little one with wings up,nice colors and details.Slope of the sand is very interesting.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Nice interaction, and hard to believe this little guy is a bout to attempt swallowing the big fish! Yes, too bad about the OOF bird intersecting behind the incoming adult. I could also see some off the bottom. Blacks look good, and I like the sloping ground.

Love the interaction in this image... excellent use of DOF... would consider removing the dark patch in the BG

Excellent timing. Two birds are in focus with sharp details. I also wish for a version without that OOF bird. TFS
