Incredible view of the feathers and ghastly inner mouth!! Where was this taken?

Fantastic, somewhat forbidding portrait! Great job on depth of field. Powerful image, Lorant; I love it.

Wow, this grabs your attention and won't let go.
Great visual impact, technically solid, nice flash work, though I don't care too much for the flash highlights in the
back of the throat....Excellent composition and very nice image.

    Spectacular!
A great look and the DOF to pull it off.
    Very cool.

What a great behavior capture of this juvenile male. He's really in your face and you got enough DOF to make it work. Looking forward to more.

Ditto all the pluses above. I'd like a bit more room to our left and above. Then I would lose the specular highlights in the throat that were caused by the flash which helped otherwise.

Beautiful image Lóránt! Love the open bill and eye contact. There are stacks of nice details in the bird. The flash does not bother me. Too much PP for my liking. :D
