I also agree with everyone who agrees with Jim,and also with Jim that this is a nice Image. And to add to that the Faithful and untouched eyes are a killer.

You got the red eyes! Exposed perfect. The best portrait shot is the series IMO. Looking straight at you, Dark BG, Cool perch, red eyes with double catch lights. Great Work .

Super IQ as usual. Your bird is so lovely against that BG and in that light. The perch works very nicely here. All came together well. Seems odd seeing a perched bird posted by you. :)

Hi Ari, great eye contact and those eyes are a killer. Exposure and sharpness spot on. I really like the placement of the kite in the frame, pops from the darker BG, and if this were mine, I would maybe have blended away the two 'loose' branches next to your signature.

    I really like this.
The detail in the white feathers is superb.
I like the bit of blood on the talon as well.
Love the direct gaze and the play of dark BG against white feathers.
The eyes are like little rubies. The beak is perfectly square to the sensor as well which adds to the image. Rubies and pearl on velvet should be the title!!
Love it and you get 10 out of 10 for this one,
    Gail

Lucky you to get all these kite ops. Glad to see you take full advantage of it. It's nice to see you can shoot a non flying object just as well!:) Very nice Arash

Jim said it well: "exposure control." Well done. Your super-dark BG serves to set off the kite.
