Birds are always outsmart the birder. This Crested Bunting has it’s nest in the one of the two walls 5 meters apart; at fort .On which quite bit of grass is present. Nest is about 10-12 feet above the ground level and not visible. In order not to disturb them I sat on the second wall facing the back first wall (having their nest on other side). Almost for one hour this male was singing and preening on the small tree on the wall where he has nest. Intermittently he was just disappearing in to bushes hardly for 2 to 3 minutes. Then I realized that in between; female was feeding the young once quietly going through bushes behind the wall. Finally; I come to know that he was keeping me away from his nest by his song. However I saw the female (latter on both of them) carrying food for babies through many people; who were walking on the pavement near the wall unaware of their presence. Birds are well habituated with people.

Taken today in the late morning, when the light become harsh. Cropped and sharpened. NR applied to background.
Hi Satish, I like the look back pose, comp, and you have achieved good DOF. Overall nice and sharp, and the diagonal perch works well. If you are ok with it, I would blend away the OOF plant in the LRC.
Beautiful bird. The pose is elegant with a near perfect head angle.
I like how the plant in the lower right hand corner adds visual interest without
overpowering the scene. A little bit stronger NR to the darker green parts of the
background in the upper parts of the frame is worth considering...
Thanks for the narrative. I love the little things you learn when you just sit and watch for a while. Photo is great. Well exposed, well lit, good detail and HA. It looks like the head, or more specifically the crest feathers, are just slightly out of focus. It may be something else, but I have a hard time focusing on them myself when viewing the photo.
