    Nice bird , sharp with a clean BG. Chest is full of hot pixels. I'd revisit the RAW and make sure to tone down the whites. TFS.

    I like the pose, perch, sharpness and BG. I agree with the hot chest comment. Well done.

    The repost is very nice. You have a super pose on this bird, a great perch and BG. Nice colors and details. Glad I can see the tail.

    Lovely raptor, interesting perch, nice BG.

    I agree about the hot areas on the breast, but also agree with you that the repost tends to change the original color too much. The attached file has some detail extractor work from Nik Color Efex 4. Used a 20% opacity brush on a hide all mask to paint in a bit more detail.

    Can be seasoned to taste. Just an option for you.
