Hi Morkel, they are a bit like two bookends.
I do like that intense stare, but it's the black tip of the tail you just see on the lion facing you, slowly moving/twitching I guess, as you gain his interest and curiosity, acting like a metronome. Personally I'm not sure how much the other one adds to the image, I can't help wonder if the image would be stronger with the single facing lion?

Instant impact Morkel. I like it.
I love the direct connection with the eyes and two nice catchlights as well. I think the one lion could be a image on its own, however ,the fact that you have chosen to have two lions makes it different.
I might take a touch off the bottom to effectively give more space above the lions than below. Just my ersonal preference.
Cheers

Hi Morkel - I like the inclusion of both lions (though could also see the forward facing one as a vertical on its own), sort of has a bit of a mirror image feel to it. Nice color tones and dof too.

What a fun capture, Morkel, and I like the tip of the lion's tail on the right showing above the head.

Nice image Morkel, but nothing wrong with lots of herbivores!

Hi Morkel,
this image lives from that look of the RHS lion , for me.It is nice to see the tip of the tail, would have been better to see more of it.
I am not sure about the other one,i mean he is not disturbing, but also not adding a lot for my taste.
Like the overall tonality , with good IQ.Only thing is , that i am not sure about the reds in the grass and parts of the lions ?I would try to reduce them a tad, maybe the scenery was that looking, then i am fine with it.
