The rut is in full swing and this fella was letting the local boys know he was in town and looking for girls!
    All C&C welcome.

Hi Jonathan, I simply like it because of the simplicity, the inclusion of the tree works.

BTW was taken near you or further a field? No need for the location, just looks a little familiar.

Thanks Jon, looked like a location I was at yesterday, hence my question. Glad it wasn't the same, as I wasn't to happy about how they approached and lack of respect to other 'snappers'.

Lovely shot here. Great light, pose and setting - the clouds in the sky take it up a level for me.

I like this one Jon. I like the low angle that you have achieved because it intensifies the power of the Stag. The open mouth is good as is the catchlight.

It is nice to see some good quality deer images taken "Up North". Our Southern friends have lots of fun in Bushy and Richmond park at this time of year...

    Cheers

Jon - Nice bugling pose and setting. Interesting perspective with clouds behind. Overall a very pleasing image.

Very nice capture. Do like it's simplicity and the bugling pose.

I think it would be nice if it were even simpler.
I think a closer crop and no tree would look nice.
    Great pose!

Man I am jealous of the red deer images I am seeing at the moment and this is one of the better ones. Nice processing work Jonathan.
