    Default Chestnut-breasted Coronet

    Attached Images Attached Images

Photographed in northern Peru last October at the Long-whiskered Owlet lodge where feeders are set up. I rebuilt some of the distant part of the wing where a twig ran through it. I removed the remainder of the twig from the bkgd.

    Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 300 f4 L IS, 1/500, f5, ISO 800, tripod.

    Comments and critiques most appreciated.

Very Nice.. Great wing position, HA and exposure. Beautiful complementary BG and I like the distant flower or leaf. Awesome colors. Great work!

What impact! Besides what everyone else has said, I'm struck by the intensity of expression on that little bird's face.

Excellent, Nancy! Nice job on removing the twig over the wing - not noticable at all. Excellent colors and details.
