Hi Giovanni! This image looks fine to me ! Your subject is in sharp focus and the greenery makes a nice frame with the flowers for a nice fg. This is a fine example of wildlife in habitat. Some may want to see less habitat but I happen to like the way you composed this...well thought out composition.

    Thanks a lot.
As I mentioned I made a little mistake to crop a little more . Do you think more flower (no too much) could be better ..or it is right so ?
    Thanks

Hi Giovanni- I like this deer in habitat image too. The yellow flowers really make it. If the image quality allows it you could go in for a tighter crop on the animal as an alternative. The ears of the deer are amazing. Do you know what species it is?

The f10 was a good decision but I find the exposure interesting. You must have had a tonne of light. The sunny-16 "rule" would suggest an exposure of 1/100s at f16. Your shutter speed was roughly 3 1/3 stops faster so the sunny-16 f-stop would be f/16 + 3 1/3 stops = somewhere between f/4 and f/5.6. F/10 would suggest an image underexposed by roughly 2-stops but it does not appear to be the case. Are there any typos in the techs?

    Second Mistake !!!!
    I ask your pardon

    ISO 1000!!!

It was early in the morning (about 7 a.m.) also if the steenbok (it is the name) was illuminated by the sun.
No problem for pixel ..but I not like more (intead I would like less) to give more composition with the local flower (Namaqua flower)

No problem Giovanni. That now makes sense!

As a side note regarding techs, I could not stand having to type them in every time I post to BPN or send an image to one of my photo buddies (always include techs there too). Photo Mechanic and other software allows you to copy and paste the techs but curiously it is something that Lightroom still fails to do.

I just noticed a little black line upper right, probably from rotating the image. Easily cloned out.

    Hi Giovanni,
image looks slighty better than the first post in wildlife forum, still think the colors are not ideal, there is too much blue /cyan in the greens and the Steenbok looks a bit on the magenta side.
Have you again used NIK software.?
Have you tried the web resize action from Hougaard ?

Here is my take , thank you for the opportunity to work from the raw file.
    Cheers Andreas

No I not used Nik..and I made wb in Camera Raw.
About Steenbook I think your valutation is fine..about the flower (off course your solution is very interesting) they are as I saw when I take the shoot.
I would like use web resize action from Hougaard but it not works with my cs6 I downloded both Contrast action and sharpening action..but both stopping immediatly..(could be because my cs6 is in italian and not in english...but I am not known how could be possible go on...)
    Thanks
    Gio

    Ciao Gio!
Here is my interpretation of the image - I have taken the repost from Andreas and added some Gaussian blur and masked it off to reveal the sharp image as appropriate. I did this because I found that the shrubs and trees around the bok were too sharp and their shapes interfered with the subject.

As we have already discussed, I would have used a more open aperture to achieve this in camera, rather than adding the blur afterwards.

I have also cropped something from all sides and added a slight vignette to the image.

I think your concept was slightly different, but that is OK, too!

    Best wishes,

    Gerald
