Beautiful bird, great detail, and love the color mosaic background which, IMO, compliments the Heron nicely.

Lovely frame Satish. I love the hair streaks and sharpness here. Light seems to be a bit harsh but you managed well under the given conditions. Also, I would have loved if the HA was little towards the barrel & I would also consider to crop a bit more from the right.

Really nice BG to go with this close up.
I agree about cropping a tad off the right, but very nice as is.

    Satish:

Good points raised already. Yes, a sliver off the right , and for me the top as well would work. Wish head angle was more our way. Nice color coordination between bird and BG.

    Cheers

Great shot. Excellent details, harsh light handled very well, and nice background.
Nits already mentioned, but still a terrific shot.
    Well done.

Hi Satish, I do like the alert stare, and how the head feathers show off nicely against the darker BG. I agree a little off the right will work.

I agree with the points mentioned in the previous comments, and the bright spot between the chin and neck could be toned down a bit. Good looking heron, and the re-crop works alot better.

Great sharpness and exposure with a good comp Satish. Would've like better eye contact. Still a nice shot !

Beautiful, sharp image. I do think the repost is even better. I can see the eye contact issue two ways - yes, it's nice when they are making eye contact, but then again, this is the fly-on-the wall perspective where we're seeing the bird looking at what it should be - its next meal. Well, with or without eye contact, it's still a wonderful image.
