I applied one texture and used Viveza and Color Efex, in addition to basic work in Elements 10.

The flower master...I like what you've created...nice suns rays coming through the petals, I think the red in LRC distracts my eye from the flower but thats just me...well done

Been missing you. good to see your work again. And again, beautiful. New perspective...just the right touch of sharpness/blur to blend in with the background yet stand out. Nice use of light.

I love the texture you've applied here, and it looks like you did a very good job of masking it out of the flower. The contrast between the flower and the background is excellent. The sunlight coming through the petals draws the eye to where it's supposed to be. This inspires and instructs me. Thanks for sharing!

Anita, the complimentary colors are wonderful. Great textures and subject. I may have put the flower slightly to the right a little but I think with the lighting your placement works very well.

I really like the back view of the flower and the glowing lighting on the petals. I thought about the bkgd for a while and for me, I think I would prefer less detail in the lower green leaves, making them a bit softer looking. I love the glow to the upper part of the composition and how the lower darkness supports this in a subtle way.

Anita, you have such a gift for your flower images...well chosen textures, delicate processing, strong compositions...I agree with Nancy's suggestion, RE the lower leaves...and I would have like to have seen just a BIT more room on the left side...but a strong, visually pleasing image...well done!

Anita, I really like everything about this, especially the lighting and texture. I think I would crop from the bottom to almost eliminate the green leaf on the bottom edge that starts in the center and moves to the right. That would also eliminate the lower leaf near the stem that is pointing down and has a lighter center.

Thank you, friends. I've neglected participation recently due to spending as much time outdoors as possible before winter sets in. :-)
