    Also on the ground, they are pretty fast. (Texel/Nederlande)

    Hello Frank. I like the bird and the foreground. I think a lower shooting angle would have worked better. Can you post your settings and detail about the equipment? Cheers.

    Hi Frank - very nice detail throughout. I like the pose and the ruffled feathers. I will agree with Lorant that a lower shooting angle would have helped. Also, I would consider removing some of the contrast from the background (or only selectively add contrast to the bird when in PP).

    I like the fluffed up feathers, and I love the shells on the ground. I agree a lower angle, this would have minimzed the BG (although it seems to be sloping up?) and given a more intimate connection with the subject...I do realize it is not always possible though. Good techs, and sharp. Nice fall-like colours.
