There is a local field that floods this time of year and there are good numbers of various waders at high tide. The light was constantly changing going from very dull to bright light, this is one of a series taken in the differing lighting conditions.
    All C&C welcome.

    Hi Jonathan,
Well done to get the head sharp on an incoming bird.
I find the grasses in the BG very distracting. As you stated, the light conditions appear to be quite challenging.

Jonathan, nice timing. I like the position of the wings and the head. I wish for a faster shutter speed, as the head seems just a but unsharp. The reeds in the background don't help the image, but I suspect you couldn't have moved to get them out of the way.

Hi Jon, I know shooting from a car at a fast flying subject no matter which way they are flying isnt easy, so well done for getting the lapwing centrally placed in your frame. Sharp where it counts, and love the wingspread.

Love the incoming pose, and good job getting it sharp on the head. Comp-wise I'd prefer a good crop from above, and more canvas at right if you have it as I feel a pano comp would work well.

Great wing spread and head on shot, difficult to crack. Subject is sharp and well exposed !

Nice incoming flight shot of a speedy small bird. Well done, Jonathan.
