    Default A very young Lamb.

    Of course I would have liked better light and a look from this Big Horned Sheep mother and lamb,
    but they were scrambling across a steep slope and had no time for me.
    The lamb is remarkably young I think, maybe a couple of months old, I was privileged to get a view of this youngster.

    I can get an appreciation for the steepness of the slope here
    I'm the last one to always pine for eye contact, as I feel story-telling images sometimes necessitate that the animals don't stare at the viewer...so in that aspect this works for me. You can't scale the slope if you're not looking where you are going

    did you frame any shots wider?

    Hi Dan - I don't think you need eye contact either but would have preferred a HA of the adult more parallel to the sensor. Nice to see the pair and definitely can appreciate the slope. I also would prefer to see it a bit wider if you have it. Nice sharpness and dof.
