    Just a fun image from Ft DeSoto when I was there. It brings a smile every time I see it so I thought I would put it on here. I was fairly close to this Egret and didn't even see the Gulll till viewing when I got home
    Canon 40D 400 f/5.6L
    1/5000sec, f/7.1, ISO 200
    Full frame image from my 40D with Auto Adjustment in CS3.

    It is a funny image Bill but doesn't work well for me Not sure what to make of it The oof gull sort of dominates Will be moving to the other bird gallery because of the perch !!!

    I agree with Al on this one......but it is funny. I've had it happen to me as well......all in a day's fun. What would have been really cool would if it had been a fraction of a second later and the entire body of the gull would have been on those legs.
