    Super image! I like the sharp details of the head and back and the contrasting appropriate motion in the wings. I also like the tension in your composition created by the opposing diagonal lines of the kingfisher and the perch.

    Excellent diving pose with good exposure and sharpness. I might consider a slightly looser crop all the way around.

    Hi Nico, you must have captured so many take offs, but each one is special, as you know that you have nailed the timing. Well exposed, sharp where it counts, and I still like to see some perch.
