    Default Olive-Backed Sunbird ( male )

I see these birds almost daily but they are fast movers, and I rarely get close enough.
After an afternoon rain. A pair was feeding and didn't notice me.

    Criticism much appreciated.

Very beautiful bird and nice job capturing him. Head is very sharp and colors look great too. To bad you couldnt get more DOF. BG is nice but has some wavey lines in it from downsizing. Bottom half of bird looks cut from the BG a bit to much. Good work..

Very good sharpness with fine feather details and interesting curious pose given by the bird. I'm not sure if the square crop fit this image, maybe try different crop and see what happen. Agree that the bottom half of the bird look cut off.

Ok, thanks for the tips. I will try them. DOF was unavoidable. To close.
I was wondering what those wavy lines were.
    Thanks.

Excellent critique above. Sure is a beautiful bird! I'd consider adding canvas on the left; the bird is too centered as presented.
