Hello everyone. I had seen this guy/gal coming my way. I tried to guess it's cross patern, but it ended up showing a couple of feet behind me. It stretched on top of this little hill and then came straight towards me. Looked up at me and continued on it's way.
C&C welcomed and encouraged. Almost FF. Cropped from the top and left side.

    Robert:

The side lighting gives a strong sense of form and texture here. Great head position, and eye. I might try a version with the foreground/hill burned just a bit darker.

    Good job.

    Cheers

Love the BG here, and good perch with just enough of it showing...and good to see the foot on top of it. I agree toning down that mound would be good. Appealing light angle. I get the feeling the image could use more saturation, or a warming of the WB.

Sweet portrait Robert. Many things working well here, but mostly the unique pose is what sets this apart
from several other roadrunner images I've seen. Perfect head angle on this too. Small dust sensor spot
    just left of the neck....

Excellent pose, good sharpness, details and exposure. I feel the image a bit too tight for me.

Hi Robert, you certainly captured a great alert pose here, which in turn has shown us a good profile of the head and bill. Good DOF, and you have also brought out the detail on this fellow very well.

    Hi Robert,
I like the HA and the wing position and the visible foot.
    Great complimentary BG.
Agree with Daniel about a bit more saturation,
    Gail
