I know that I should stop posting kite images and move on to a new subject but this is one of the frames that I liked. The perch was crowded but the juvenile was determined to land. you can tell that from the expression in his face. The perched kites will look at the landing kite so the left one had his head turned away but I would still rather have him in the frame to add to the story.

I hope you like it too, this image is best viewed at HD size here

    Another beauty!
At first I wished to see the left perched bird's face but after a few minutes of study I like it as it tells the story.
I love the light and the wingspread of the landing bird and the look on the far bird.
Great BG and perch is perfect. You have shown just the right amount.
Exp of whites and blacks are perfect.
    Another stunner! Keep them coming!

You really captured this one just at the right time since the landing bird is center stage. The scene works for me as is and tells a great story. Perch and BG are killer as is your exp.

Very Nice scene. Always enjoy your kite images. Like the open feet highlighted by the tail and the defiant cry of his sibling. Great techs as always. Nice work!

I personally am not tired of your kite images.

I like the light falling on the wing and spread beautifully. Your perfection in exposing these is taken for granted. I like the inclusion of the away looking kite. The sharp wings look great against the bg.

I just wished you were towards the right , just enough to get the prefect frontal spread (easier said than done , right?).

Another stunner sir. So much drama and captured so well.
Compositionally, a suggestion would be to do a slight trim off the left hand side (and top part of the frame, to keep the ratio).
The negative space on the left "feels" a little rich as is. Also, cloning out that bit of pine in the lower right hand side seems
reasonable. It's not doing much for the overall success of the image imo.

The focal point of the composition is obviously the bird in the process of landing.
Having both birds looking at him strenghtens the comopsition by a great deal.
To me, this has been the best of all the Kite shots you posted recently.
