Nice alert pose and great detail and setting for this bird!

Would like a bit more room at the bottom if you have it.

I agree with Mike. They sure look different than the ones seen here in the northern Rockies.

I like the feather patterns, details, sharpness, low angle and setting. I would like to see a little more on the bottom. Well done Karl!

    Thanks Mike,.
I had it cropped larger with more space at the bottom originally. Unfortunately there was a lot of OOF weed at the bottom, and did not look too good to my eyes so I cropped it close to the feet.

Nice pose on this one. Great detail like the last one. Soft light gives an even subdued scene. Nice work.

Hi Karl, I prefer this to your pevious post. Love the light, and you have exposed her nicely - colours look good. I like the low angle, and the grouse is separated nicely from the BG. I feel your placement is just fine.

This one sings even better than the last Karl. Love the setting with the varied weed/grass elements.
Composition is rockin. These birds don't have long legs...I think the space on the bottom is fine as is.

Wow! I've never seen a bird like this! very nice habitat and feather patterns. I also like the light and wish for a sharper eye.
