I like this version too with different BG and also the flame back is seen more. Image is about 80% of the frame

    What an amazing bird.
I like the vertical composition and perfect size in the frame.
I see a bit of a green cast on the white feathers and along the edge of primaries.
An excellent view of the feet and tail supporting the woodpecker. Excellent HA.
I think I would desat the green in the BG as it is a bit bright. and detracts from the bird.
    An excellent image,
    Gail

Ah, one of the glories of Asia: the flamebacks. You took full advantage of a good situation. Flameback, indeed!

Terrific pose on this one with good exposure and nice details. Good catch by Gail on the green cast. I would not have noticed it. I prefer the background on the former and would try to desaturate this one a little. It's so bright that it seems to be overpowering your bird. I would also take a little off the top and add it to the bottom since the tail seems a bit squeezed.

Hi Varun, striking colours on this fellow, and you show excellent detail too. Great pose with the head clear of the tree, and agree, toning down the BG will work.

Excelelnt shot. I really like the pose, love the raised crest, excellent details, and do agree that the background is a tad over powering.
    Still a great shot.
    Well done.
