Wow, wow and double wow!
Terrific HA's, the usual superb BG of Giants Castle. Great interaction and superb IQ.
The raised wings and open jaw of jackal are great.
I would love a bit more room on top if you have it to make this more of a vertical and would do another round of NR on the BG.
This is an amazing shot Craig,
Gail

Excellent Craig, I too would suggest a little NR on the background, other than that a terrific image. Excellent details and exposure.

Wonderful!! Did you lighten the area behind your copyright? I think without the signature that area would be a little distracting, being so light and OOF. But as is, it provides the perfect place for the copyright.

Every thing looks good Graig, just not a fan of squire crops will try a more traditional landscape crop

excellent interaction shot. It's great that all subjects are in focus. I would run NR on the BG and perhaps back off on sharpening a tad. it's a killer image overall well done

The interaction here is superb. I would like to see more of this series, if you have it. Was the dog defending young?

Thanks for your comments - All your inputs will be used to correct and improve the image.
Top of the list is the NR on the BG - Adding more space to the top of the image thus creating a more portrait image makes a lot of sense
The OOF behind the copyright notice is 'as shot', could tone it down a little.
There were 3 Jackals, only one visible in this image, around and up to 8 Cape Vultures in the area.
In most cases the Jackal's walked (ran) away with the spoils !!
