    Ian...Personally I would go darker to bring out the detail in the legs and would remove the branch in the LHC> This is a good image that could be taken up a notch if printed darker IMHO

    Ian, Bob has it right here - the image is way too bright. I would tone down the bg and use a curves adjustment on the birds to get a little more contrast. I like the arrangement in the frame and the head angles. Good catch!

    I like the composition, and their perches. I think this photo could use a lot of highlight recovery, and probably a little exposure reduction. It is very bright and those highlights are fairly harsh. A little bit of curves could help bring out highlight tones where they belong, and add some saturation and contrast to the image overall.

    These vultures are posed excellently, but are over-exposed. I am fond of these birds, though I haven't had to handle them. The raptor rehabilitation folks say that they are prone to puking on the handler when upset.
