    Default Peregrine eating

From an earlier series, this with the sun at my back. Removed some meat from the sand, crop approx 60 percent of the original. I am seeing the Falcons on the beach almost every day now but haven't been able to get this close again.

Very cool. She is a "passage female" , a juvenile. Recently trapped, banded, weighed, dyed and blood taken for research and migratory counts. Great capture and techs look perfect. Good Job..

Powerful image that really rocks from a tech standpoint and (closeness!), especially considering the focal length used (!)
There is someone in my neck of the woods that nabs every snowy owl he can get a net on, and then wing tags them
and spray paints part of their head as part of some "study".....

It is certainly not your fault or hers, but a shame about the dye job. Your work looks good.

Really a super documentary image, Allen. It's sharp with details and well exposed and I love the way she is looking you over and there's a nice catchlight. The kill is a big plus.

    David:
I would like to know who did banding and when...being a scientist; interested in data if available.

Beautiful bird . I like that the head is turned towards you and the way those talons are wrapped around the prey

This image rocks man, but darned I'm bummed about the dye job...I'll just pretend it's blood! I'd have preferred an even lower angle but I would have been scared to spook it by moving more than I should!! Thanks for sharing this beauty.

She looks like she's daring you to take her picture on a bad hair day!
