Default Ahh.. look at the armadillo in the road!

Shot these at Viera Wetlands. It was kinda funny to see them with their mouth open. Image not the best but they where quite far. Using my 500mm with the 1.4 TC.

Nice study in what I assume is juvenile and adult plumage...?
I think it's a very nice image with good detail on both subjects and the perch.
Was it hot out? Looks like they are ventilating...
Compositionally, a small crop of the top and the left hand side is worth considering....
I tried it in PS and like the results.

Nice image, Mike. I like the way they have the same pose and the open beak.

This weekend was hot in FL. I will try your advice on the croping.

    Thank You for your comments.

You really caught them with a great pose. The crop works for me well as is. Nice exposure and sharpness.

Great pose and comp. ( Maybe a slivver off the right wouldn't hurt?) Looks like the sun was strong.

Very nice capture with both of them in frame with similar poses. Love the two plumages! When was this taken? I'm looking forward to a trip to Viera fairly soon :)

I too like the study in different plumages, and I like the double "panting" pose. Comp works for me. A bit of loss of IQ due to the distance, but still quite good. Funny title

Almost like twins! like the pose and light. I wish for a less steep shooting angle but I know it is not always possible, I am very happy with this one and wouldn't mind to have it in my files!
