    Default Common tern feeding juvie

It was a dark and cloudy morn...I was in the water with waders and tripod at ~ 6:30AM. The exchange of food is so quick that I didn't have time to move to the left for a better HA on Juvie. I am actually surprised the shot is sharp at 1/800

Gail, really like the low angle, dangling fish, behavior, sharpness and tones here. Not sure I would change anything here. TFS, very cool.

Amazing! Great work! And the focus on the narrow band of water from the low angle is icing on the cake.

Two of of three head angles is great here. Moving to your left would have had you shooting up the butt of the adult.... Love the sand eel.

Terrific interaction captured. Fabulous low angle makes for nice fg/bg. Of course a little more light might have given you more SS and smaller aperture, either or both of which could have sharpened it up just that last little bit, but handsome image as it is.

Great behavioral image, Gail. Love the view of the bird and the adult, wish only for a better HA on the juvie. Your low angle rocks as usual.

Hi Gail, great timing to capture the feeding behaviour, and that seems quite a large meal for the Juvie, although Im sure it went down easily. Good low perspective, central placement works well, and sharpness looks fine for your ss.

Beautiful scene. Love the low angle. It seems your position is pretty good...given the circumstances.

Super low angle really showcases this story so well. The head angles work for me, the 2 out of 3. Good job on what could not have been an easy PP job.

Amazing moment captured here...I would crop off more of the top. Anymore room on the bottom?

    Hi Gail,

Very nice interaction shot. 1/800 worked well and gave you enough to shoot wide open with ISO 1600 which is sill acceptable with the MKIV. You must come home dirt on every outing because you always have great low angle shots. Great Job.
