Sharp with a perfect EXP and lots of detail in the darks and the highlights. I am fine with the bird angling away from us as it makes us wonder what its after. Love the raised feet and open bill. More above less below would make this one even better.

    The pose made me smile!
Tack sharp and great exposure on blacks and whites.
If I was to be detail-oriented I would eliminate the specular highlight behind the bird and the little white speck just touching the top of wing.
I can see this as a pano with a bit more on top,
    Gail

Sweet landing pose, the feet sticking up and the open mouth and wing position really makes this shot for me. Did he crash and burn or land? It might be the direction the waves are coming in but does it need a little CCW?

Great shot love the sharp detail land excellent details. initially I thought crop was fine .. on reflection a little more on top less on bottom - as Artie said, I think a little more of the pale brown golden background would help this beautiful image.

Hi Craig, great catching up last weekend. A classic EG inflight pose, and agree on less on bottom, and more on top. I feel this does need a CCW rotation.

Killer exposure and sharpness on this one. Great action captured here and what a dynamic pose!!! Agree on crop off the bottom and some rotation.
