    Default Morning on the bog

I took this image almost 2 weeks ago at a bog. I like the sun hitting part of the grass but not all of it. HDR made from three images.

D800 at f/11. Nikon 24-120 lens at 40mm. ISO 125. Saved a Image quality 7 in order to get down to size guideline.

Hey, this is really nice. You captured that peaceful wonderment of the new day. Super work with the HDR and avoiding the grunge look.
Makes we want to be there. This is a wall hanger for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Allan - Nice colors in the bog itself and I like the effect of the mist. I also like the sun hitting only part of the grass. However, I'm not a fan of the sky here as the color and contrast looks off to me and I can't help but wonder if it's because of the HDR processing. I'm also not sure about the inclusion of the tree in the llc. I would probably have moved to the right to avoid it. Btw is this the same as the image you posted a few days ago?

    TFS,

It is Rachael. I made a repost of the entire image, right from raw. I did not do an hdr this time - just 1 file. IQ 7 to get under size limit.

Allan- IMHO your repost looks much better and much more natural.
